Componentry Guide

Designed and engineered by SafeSmart Access in Australia and New Zealand, Proscaf was developed with a clear vision in mind: to produce the safest, most efficient, and highest quality scaffold system available. As a result, the system took shape with key characteristics including:
Positive Locking Rosette Connection – The bolt-free rosette connections provide 8 connections at each level—four at fixed and four at variable angles—making the system versatile for simple and complex sites alike. The tested and rated locking connection between vertical components (such as standards) and horizontal components (such as braces, transoms, and ledgers) allows for large hanging and craneable structures to be safely designed and built, to weight ratings exceeding heavy duty. In addition, the unique ring shape and welding procedure places the system as the strongest and safest available.
High Load Bearing Braces – Proscaf’s diagonal braces, used to lock scaffold bays together both vertically and horizontally, achieve top-end compression and tension loading, meaning less bracing is needed in structures than other scaffolding systems.
Proscaf All-in-One Solution – Due to the unique range of parts available, complex scaffold structures such as
- hanging,
- cantilevered,
- bridging,
- and propping scaffolds
can be built using no other components aside from the Proscaf system. This makes design, engineering checks, and building scaffolds a simplified and streamlined affair.
The Proscaf Difference: Technical Information & Data – To assist with design and engineering checks in complex designs, SafeSmart provides technical data sheets on Proscaf components, which include component strength and safe use information.
